The highest quality French Oak Barrels are used in the making of Mount Veeder Magic Vineyards Cab. Custom coopered barrels are toasted to complement each vintage. This provides building blocks for the wine’s structure and integrates gradually throughout the aging process.

Toasting imparts flavors that add complexity to the wine. A medium plus toasting is our choice for this full-bodied mountain Cab. This toasting imparts aromatic components that are expressed in the wine as crème brulee, vanilla, mocha, chocolate and espresso-like tannins. Structure builds mid-palate and length due to fire bending techniques that penetrate the toast deep into the inner stave
